The microaggressions in the last video are a fictional representation of real microaggressions
reported by students at NCSU during the fall semester of 2016.

Explain why or why not, based on what you have seen in the following videos and in this chapter
you think that Cooley’s theory of the Looking Glass Self might play a role in the impact that
microaggressions can have on identity and self concept. What other kinds of interactions might
have a similar impact on individuals and the self?
